Synopsis

In 2003, there were 1.5 million Assyrians in Iraq, but today only around 250,000 remain. The vast majority fled in desperation, seeing no end to war and terror. As the Assyrians disappear, the Middle East loses one of its oldest identities and the world loses a part of humanity.
